Tips for re-creating an authentic Star Wars character using make-up and styling

This
Asajj Ventress Star Wars costume is best completed with the character’s idiosyncratic face markings recreated using some white and blue costume make-up. Just accentuate the contours of the facial structure. You can be as stylised or as precise as you want as you apply the make-up, but referring to your inspiration images will help the costume stay authentic. Add a
lightsaber or two for extra bonus authenticity points. You can also use eye-liner and a red lipstick to highlight the eyes and mouth.
Darth Maul

Darth Maul costumes usually come with a hood or mask, if your Star Wars themed party is happening on a hot day, you may wish to use makeup to get a similar effect. There are make-up tutorials on Darth Maul online. It may require a steady hand and the use of a make-up brush for application small enough to get all the details in the face. Horns can be replicated by being drawn on the forehead. Using a darker shade of makeup for the shadows in the horns will make the effect more realistic.
